All the external cottage doors (with one or two exceptions) have digital locks which are operated by centrally programmed electronic key tags from the outside, and a turning knob on the inside.

Once you get used to them, they're very intuitive! There are laminated instructions on the dining table in the cottage, but the diagrams below may be useful too, while you familiarise yourselves with the system.

Please do call us if you're having difficulty locking or unlocking the doors with digital locks - or if you have locked yourself out of the cottage, or if you've lost your key tag!

If you hear a long beeping or tune playing when you operate the digital lock, it means that the batteries need changing. Please contact us straight away and we will come with fresh batteries.
