Cleaning

The cottages are thoroughly cleaned and prepared between guests. If you are staying for two weeks or more, we will offer to change all the bed linen and provide a cleaning service every 7 nights if you would like it. If you prefer not to be disturbed, then we will of course respect your privacy.

So you can keep the cottage pleasant to stay in, there are some basic cleaning materials in each of the cottages, including a Henry vacuum cleaner, a broom, dustpan and brush, surface cleaner and j-cloths. You can also find a mop and bucket in the laundry room.

There'll be no expectation that you do a deep clean of the cottage before you go home! However, you are asked to leave the cottage clean and tidy when you leave, as requirement for exceptional cleaning by us after you leave may incur an additional charge.

You'll find a short departure checklist in the cottage, which includes some basic tasks such as removing all rubbish and items of food, cleaning up any obvious spills and putting back any furniture or other items that you've moved around to suit your needs.
