When you arrive at Hawthorn Farm, you'll find a welcome refreshments tray in your cottage, which includes some coffee pods for the coffee machine, some instant coffee, tea bags, hot chocolate, sugar, semi-skimmed milk and biscuits - plus some Kentish treats for you to enjoy, such as local Kent crisps or Kent-made chocolates, and a bottle of locally produced apple juice. If you'd like to purchase some more, do let us know as we may have enough here - or we can direct you to the nearest local stockists!
Our cottages are self-catering, but to get you started, you'll find a supply of the following in your cottage:
- Toilet rolls
- Surface cleaner, toilet cleaner, air freshener
- Dishwasher tablets/rinse aid/dishwasher salt
- Washing up liquid
- Bin liners/bio-degradable bags for food waste
- An "ecoegg" (alternative to washing machine detergent) in the laundry room
- Dog treats/essentials to borrow if you're bringing your dog/s to Foxglove Cottage or Primrose Cottage
You may need to buy more of the 'consumable' items if you're staying for longer than 4 days.
